Skyline Honed Marble Hand Carved Freestanding Bathtub W34 x L79 x H24

Skyline honed marble bathtub

The Skyline is a freestanding bathtub hand carved from natural white marble quarried in Turkey. It has a sculptural silhouette and a honed finish, and it measures 34 inches wide, 79 inches long and 24 inches high. Each tub is carved individually, so every piece has its own veining, color movement, texture and character.

A sculpted silhouette in white

The solid stone body gives the tub an architectural look that suits modern, contemporary and traditional bathrooms. The honed surface is matte, which keeps the white soft and lets the veining read clearly. Variations in color, veining, texture, mineral deposits and natural markings are part of genuine marble, and moderate variation from tub to tub should be expected.

• Honed white marble A matte surface that shows the natural veining and movement of the stone.
• Carved individually Each tub is hand carved, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

A long tub for primary baths

At 79 inches long and 34 inches wide, with a height of 24 inches, the Skyline is a large soaking tub for a primary bathroom with open floor around it.

• Size 34" W × 79" L × 24" H.
• Installation Freestanding, with the filler on the floor or the wall.

Floor and plumbing first

Solid marble is heavy, and the floor must carry the tub full of water and in use, so a contractor should confirm the structure before delivery. A plumber sets the drain and a floor or wall mounted filler, and professional installation is recommended.

Care

Marble is a natural, porous calcite stone, and acids can etch it. A stone sealer applied before the first use is strongly recommended, with regular resealing to protect against moisture and staining. How often depends on use and the type of sealer applied.
