It carries the grain of quarried stone without the sealing that a porous stone floor needs. Mesh backing holds the layout in the D cut, which is what makes a mosaic practical on a shower floor or a backsplash.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 4.2 sq ft, 5 pieces.
Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
