Frontier20 Vintage Slab Slate Look Porcelain Pavers 12x24

This is the Frontier20 Vintage Slab paver, 12x24 in a slate face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. The thickness is what lets it sit on a gravel bed or on pedestals over a roof deck without a mortar base.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 7.75 sq ft per box and 4 pieces in it.

It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
