Frontier20 Travertine Cross Cut White, 12x12, a porcelain paver with a travertine face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Travertine in the real material has open pores that have to be filled and refilled; nothing here needs filling. Outdoors it takes ground contact, freeze and thaw, and the weight of garden furniture without a mortar bed.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 4.84 sq ft, 5 pieces.

Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
