This is the Frontier20 Montauk White End-cover, 12x24 in a slate face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. It covers the exposed cut end of a run, which is the edge that usually gives away where the tiling stopped.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 3.87 sq ft per box and 2 pieces in it.
This one is made to order, so allow production time rather than treating it as a shelf item. It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
