Frontier20 Mariposa Slate is a 12x24 slate look porcelain Coping & Stair. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. Coping caps the edge of a pool or a raised terrace, with a rounded front so there is no sharp arris underfoot.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 3.87 sq ft per box and 2 pieces in it.
