Embossed Fiber Seat Board – Nesting Birds Design

Fiber Seat Boards are an excellent replacement for chairs that originally had caned, leather, or cardboard seats. This model features a beautifully embossed design of a pair of nesting birds with a floral border, molded to fit into the chair seat opening for an authentic antique look.

The seat comes in a grayish clay tone that can be easily toned down with stain to match your furniture. Browse our stain selection to find the perfect color for your restoration project.

Installation Tip: Make sure the pattern size is smaller than the seat opening on your chair. This round fiber seat requires a minimum hole diameter of 11-1/8". For detailed installation guidance, view our tutorial here.

Recommended Installation

Use Decorative Upholstery Tacks to secure the seat — small, low-domed styles work best for a clean appearance. Tacks can be spaced according to taste, but should not exceed two inches from center to center.
