Hand-bonded mulberry paper is shaped over fine bamboo ribs and supported by a stable metal framework, creating a delicate architectural rhythm around the shade. What bulb does the Akari D Series Pendant Lamp use?
The fixture accepts an E26 or E27 LED or Edison-style bulb. For the intended soft paper-lantern effect, a warm 2200K–2700K LED bulb is recommended.
Can several Akari D Series lanterns be installed together?
Yes. In addition to the five single-lantern sizes, selected two-light, three-light and five-light arrangements are available. Several lanterns can be suspended at different heights to create a larger sculptural installation.
Can the hanging height be adjusted?
Yes. The standard suspension cable is approximately 150 cm / 59 inches and can be shortened during installation. A longer cable may also be requested for taller spaces.
Will every paper shade look exactly the same?
No. Because the paper is hand-bonded, subtle variation in texture, form and joined edges may occur. These details are normal characteristics of the hand-finished construction.
