Essence Montauk Grey, 24x48, a porcelain Grip with a slate face. Essence keeps the cleft texture of slate and drops the flaking that comes with the real stone.

A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. The grip surface is the slip resistant version of the same face, made for steps, pool edges and floors that get wet.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. It is sold by the box, 15.5 sq ft per box and 2 pieces in it.
